Have you tried it? According to the Joomla 3.0 documentation [nofollow]:

Extensions that are native to Joomla 2.5 should work on Joomla 3.0 with very little change, if any. Components and templates will need the most work, while modules and plugins should work without issue (assuming they do not use deprecated methods). Extensions that support Joomla 2.5 and 1.5 in the same package will likely not work right away, until the developers update them for Joomla 3 compatibility.

Sounds like the installer needs to be updated to be compliant with Joomla 3.

i change the XML and install.

So ... after insert youtube video, show the error in frontend:
Fatal error: Class 'JParameter' not found in /home/XXXXX/plugins/content/jw_allvideos/jw_allvideos.php on line 76

Hi Katia -

Any new news? I upgraded a site that used All Videos to J3 based on the announcement several weeks ago that it would be available a few days after the K2 rollout. The 4.4 version stopped working after the upgrade and attempts to reinstall get hung up on the missing XML file.

Is there an update to the forecast about what a few days means? Has anyone actually started work and it's almost done, they hit a barrier and who knows how long until it is solved, or it's still on the list and someone expects it to be a few days until they can start on it, subject to other issues and paying clients popping up with interruptions as they always do.

Any chance someone has been working on a beta version that can be made available sometime? Latest idea of when?

Since 10 days has passed with still no reply, I'm guessing that there must be some insurmountable issue and that AllVideos (free or paid) will not be a J!3 extension before 3.1. Tell me I'm wrong, ...tell me someone has (or has not) started on it. Is there any hope or do I need to use other alternatives?

The initial release date was for the beginning of December... What's the status of the plugin??? I have several clients who are waiting to use the media function with K2 component.

Hi all,

I modified the plugin (trying to keep it as original as possible) for use in Joomla 3.0, I updated versions of the players (JW Player 6 and QT Player Javscript), added the Spanish language and changed the translation strings.

I tried in localhost with mp3 files, wmv, youtube, mp3 and wmv remote.

It has worked well. Hope this helps, I think it can be improved.

Yes, I imagine that the developers are working full updating all your extensions, this is a job itself, to help, may contain errors as I am not a developer. Hope will be of much use.
