Hello, this is a great plugin and I have used it before with no problems, but now I have installed it on a Joomla 2.5 site that has content migrated from Joomla 1.0.3 but the plugin is not working.

It just shows the tags, for example:

{youtube}MFpWOoGYHWY{/youtube}

I've installed the plg_jw_allvideos-v4.4_j1.5-2.5.zip plugin and it is activated. I haven't found any information that can help me solve this issue. Can you please help?

Was this ever solved?

I am having exactly the same issue on Joomla 2.5.6.
AllVideos installed fine but it is acting like the plug-in is not turned on: all of the code is visible on the page, {mov}...etc.

Using RocketTheme rt_Voxel template.
Have turned off most of the template features just in case they were interfering.

Did you enable the plugin?

I am having the same issue. Except the tags im using arent showing up in content. For me nothing is showing up just the article content. Have enabled the plugin and tried using "Use online video service" and the "embed" tabs but nothing shows up on the site. Not sure what im missing.

Good day and a new user as of a couple of hours ago. I have installed and activated the plugin <and thank you for it> but I also am unable to get it to work?

Also, how come all replies are "allow access" to Super Admin please? Instead of posting the fix? All setting are correct from install as from the docs.

I have installed Allvideos but can't get it to work. It just provides a blank, black box where the vimeo video should be.
Also, when I look at the documentation page, I don't see the tables. I think that I am doing things correctly, but something seems to be wrong.
Thanks to anyone who can help. I am very new at working with Joomla and extensions. (And very new at posting on help forums)

Well....I don't seem to be able to understand the problem. Local video folder: images/stories/videos...video file: rebozo_de_argollas.flv....tag: <flv>rebozo_de_argollas</flv>...but nothing appears. Am I doing everything as should? Note: I am only placing the tag in the K2 article....nothing else. Please help!!!! Thank you.

I seem to have a somewhat similar problem. Only it works perfectly on the fronpage. But not on the subpages ?!?! I tried switching betweeen different videos and that works fine. Even tried the flvremote, but still no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Katia. The first link (frontpage of site) is OK. But the second (now edited) has the error. It only shows the flv link.

first it is a wonderful plugin. thanks.
I have no problems from local upload or the famous sites like youtube etc.
My problem is playing embedded videos from e.g. company sites. They are providing an embedded link but this one is not working . I don't know which parameters i have to put into the plugin code as it is very long and not so simple like youtube.
Please could you help me.
One example which you can try maybe:

I am afraid that you may use only the video providers that are mentioned in AllVideos documentation.
If the video you want is not supported from them you need to save it in your pc in a video format AllVideos support.

I have narrowed it down a little more.

1) {youtube} videos work no problem >
2) {mpg} files on server or remote is not working from , please see Bottom a b c

Hello,

I used AllVideos several times with J1.5. Now I am trying with J2.5 but doesn't work.
It does find the video mp4 but it doesn't load.

I unpublished the page now untill it is solved.

Any idea what goes wrong?

Hello! I use joomla 2.5, with K2 v2.5.6, and allvideos v4.4
The k2 element video setting is in the k2_element video.jpg file.
When I select menuitem ( type k2 categories) I can see and hear the video, when I play it.
When I select with read more button this k2 element, and appears it, I can hear the video, but can see nothing (I set autoplay), only the element's text.
Do you have any idea?
