Language files not installed?

I just downloaded and installed Simple Image Gallery and noticed that all the thumbs have CLICK_TO_ENLARGE and all the pop up images have JW_SIG_NAVTIP on them.

I went into the languages to try and change this only to find that there are no language files!

There are two language files in administrator/language, but they are content files.

I have repaired permissions with Admin Tools, and tried redownloading and reinstalling a few times now with no luck.

Can anybody help with this?

Of course they are language files.
What are the names of the files you found?

I got the same problem... no language files within the installation (jw_simpleImageGallery v2.2) running under joomla 2.5.8

Same problem. No language file for the front end.
Would be nice if we at least could get directions on how to make a language file.

Change the text in the language file : administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_content_jw_sigpro.ini.

That file doesnt exist. Only thing close is en-GB.plg_content_jw_simpleImageGallery.sys.ini

You are right. I am sorry the previous path is for SIG PRO language file.

And the one i mentioned is for the backe end if im not mistaken.
Any chance of you uploading one for the front end or supplying us with info on what needs to be in the lang file for the front end and what name to give it?

Ok the name needs to be en-GB.plg_content_jw_simpleImageGallery.ini according to jw_simpleImageGallery.xml

Hi all,
i am new on this forum.

I had the same problem and i resolved it renaming the 2 files in lowercase.
